Nekar Samman Yojana: Payment of ₹5000 subsidy to 1,02,980 weavers of the state directly into bank account

State Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai launched the transfer of subsidy through DBT for power loom weavers / laborers under “Nekara Samman Yojana” organized by Handlooms and Textiles Department in Chief Minister's Home Office Krishna.

"Today we have fulfilled the long-standing demand of weavers. Today ₹5000 subsidy for the year 2022-23 has been transferred to the bank accounts of 1,02,980 weavers of the state under Nekar Samman Yojana through direct cash payment. The success of this is due to our officers who have worked tirelessly and diligently." Chief Minister Bommai said.
